2020 is indeed a tough year. The serious epidemic is particularly affecting daily lives of the elderly. During the epidemic, some community support services were forced to suspend, leaving some elderly helpless without alternative assistance.

Earlier, the Association provided one to several sessions of free home-based cleaning and care services to the elderly in urgent need through the "Unite to Fight Virus, Send Love to the Community" Special Program. Regardless of the impact of the epidemic, the demand for elderly care and support has always been high for a long time, and the waiting time for subsidized elderly community care services in Hong Kong is indeed long, with a large number of people on waiting list.

Therefore, the Association has launched a brand new "EasyHome Services Charity Programme" to support the needs of elderly for home-based services:

• Short-term needs: facing an epidemic or unpredictable circumstance
• Long-term needs: waiting for the transition period of government-funded long-term care services or other community care support

With a variety of services available, the elderly will benefit more. EasyHome Services Charity Programme can also ease the pressure on caregivers and strengthen family cohesion. Please donate to support, you can improve the quality of life of beneficiaries!

• 7-Eleven: You can make a cash donation from HK$100 to HK5, 000 to SCHSA at any 7-Eleven branches in Hong Kong.
